Research: focused on peoples behavior
Whether you need user centered research, human factors analysis, or product trailing, Wellspan Research and Design can meet all your needs as we take contextual design research approach. This is a user-centered approach that involves interviews/observations conducted with people in their environments where they use your product or service. Wellspan goes beyond what people say and record what they do. We believe that this direct observation and inquires into users practices and activities is the best way to uncover problems and opportunities. The advantage of Wellspan’s approach is that we insure that real work/use practices are identified and not just the self reported practices through the traditional market survey and phone interviews.
Contextual design is a method of including user data and the voice of the customer into the design process. Wellspan does two main types of contextual research
1. Rapid contextual design
This is good for a project interested primarily in identifying the key issues of a product, system, service or issues in a user population.
2. Focused Contextual Design
This is the best method for developing significant new features, new products and systems. This involves undertaking data modeling tasks such as persona developments, user storyboards, and other in-depth data interpretations of the user centered experience.
